Supreme Champion welsh cob Saith Black Storm was born, as his name suggests, on a black
stormy day in April 2003. We were off to a show and got to the farm early and there he was. It was
pouring with rain and we quickly put him and mum into the barn - he was absolutely fine and I think
only an hour or so born as he still was having trouble with his legs. Dried him off and thought wow
even at that early age.
He has been supreme champion as a foal and now bought by Lucy Powell who competes him in dressage and showing and has done really well with him. She is now starting him on jumping (which he loves) and I cant wait to get some photos up of him doing that.
He has a funny temperament, one minute totally laid back and the next he's giving a little fizz, but it soon disappears. He is extremely loving as well as being quirky and adores Lucy. He has just started jumping and we will get some pictures soon.
He's very lucky to have her, as I keep telling him when I see him.
