Comments: Heather / Steve, Thanks for your hospitality on Saturday 21st August. Ray,Jill and myself really enjoyed seeing your horses, you have some really fine bloodstock which you both value very highly. Personally I particularly liked Corriander and Cindy (Heather don't worry too much about the head, as one old wag once told me 95% of the horse is behind the head!! and anyway with Dragon you've got a super stallion who moves freely and will throw lovely heads) Your openness and honesty was refreshing to hear, your aims, although idealistic are achievable and all I can wish for you is that you achieve just some of your aims, as the world of breeding and showing Welsh Cobs would be a far better place for us all (and also for the cobs!!) I am sure if you persevere, you could, in the next few years, become one of the bridges between the Welsh Cob world and that of the UK Horseworld Establishment(something very few Cob Breeders have so far achieved - Perhaps only Llanarth (Pauline TAylor)and Kentchhurch (Ann Vesty)(In my opinion)- Thanks for a wonderful welcome &a very enjoyable afternoon at Saith - Keep rattling those chains!! I'm sure that we'll meet again soon, Regards, Richard

There was no comparison and he had to come to America. Your Dragon is absolutely stunning and his foals look just the same. Thank you for the tour of your stud. Tammy

Comments:Hi, thank you for visiting my hompage. My guestbook is "out of order" right now, but I will try to work something out. I must say, I really love your horses. They are exactly what I look for in a cob, with all that pony character. My filly still lacks a bit of substance, but I think she will turn out fine in a year or two. It's worth saying again - You have truly beautiful horses!!! Best wishes, Hanna

Comments:Lovely site with lovely pictures and stories! I too have a love of black cobs. My mare is black with a blaze and two hind whites. She is soooo pretty. I don't show (would be too nervous), but she gives me so much pleasure out on hacks. Yesterday and this evening my 10 year old daughter claimed her whilst I rode my 20 year old Heinz 57, and she thoroughly enjoyed herself (my daughter that is). The only downfall I have with her is that, I have had her three years and she is now 9 years old. Her first owners, kept her stabled and starved her because their other mare was overweight. She took to 'crib biting'. Whilst she lives out all the time, if given tit bits, will crib bite on gate posts. My only concern, is 'what is it doing to her insides' - it makes you wonder? I know the answer is no tit bits, I even have signs on my gates, but I can't be there 24 hours a day and make sure all passers by adhere to them. Here photo is on the communities web site. Her name is Arosfa Morning Miss (Missy). She is by Trevallion Trysor (who is based here on Anglesey in the Glantraeth Stud), out of a Buckswood mare, who was by a Derwen stallion. I have traced her breeding and have now amassed 14,300 names to her pedigree. The welsh cob review magazine now want my story. Am I sad, or am I sad. Yes, I am sad, but I also love Welsh Cobs. Heather
