I have a 15h 4yr old Black Sect D by the name of Oliver. Am desparately trying to trace his breeding and history.. no papers. He's got a white star and snip and LH hind white sock.
So far, he's been shown in hand this season at local level and done v.well but would love to show at county but without papers I'm stuck.
Have spoke to Denwyn who thought he may have been one of theirs but unfortunately not.
Would be grateful for any help.

Your cobs are absolutely gorgeous! I have my oown section D and I just wanted to comment on how versatile they are. I regularly compete in dressage, showjumping and eventing and he has never let me down. They make fab working hunters aswell, never out the top 2! It is nice to see so many with such fab action, many I see lack that high shoulder movement. I've had my 12 year old ten years now and when he is ready to retire I,ll definately be after another welshie!

I have shown with my Paith mare and her foal, how easy they are to care for, and how versatile. Oh dear Hannah, day dreaming is dangerous.... I day dreamed at least five times on this wonderful site and look where it landed me, the VERY PROUD OWNER OF SAITH STEFHAN!
I can honestly say that Heather and Steve are truly wonderful people with wonderful horses and a fantastic natural approach to handling. ALL of the horses including last years foals just loved to be fussed which was great for me on my couple of visits as I love to fuss them. Mind you, think Heather and Steve met their match with me when they say their horses just loved to be fussed cos yep, I can fuss ALLLLLLL DAY!

I honestly dont think I've ever seen such fabulous looking Welsh Cobs and your natural approach to breeding and horsemanship is wonderful.
I am currently living in London so am unable to own a horse at present (livery here costs more than it does to rent a flat!), but I am planning to move back to Wales in a few years - I will definitely visit your stud and hopefully buy one of your stunning horses for myself!
In the meantime, I'll just bookmark your site and keep daydreaming about it!!

Your website is great, its lovely to read all the stories about how you aquired each pony. Keep up the good work, you have some truly gorgeous cobs. Check the NPA site above in a week or so, there shoud be a pic of your mare that came reserve champ at our Feb show. I was surfing the web as I just purchased a 15 hh mare as she was wasting in a paddock. She was neglected with minor cracks in hooves, ticks all over her and she looks like she should founder soon if she eats any more of the 30 acres of rich pasture she is in. She has a beautiful nature and loves kids. She moves beautifully.
I think she is a welsh cob but the farrier did not know. They are not so common in these parts. She does look like your horses!
