I have not had a horse for about 7 years due to breeding myself!! I have now found my own yard which I am taking over on 1st December 2007 and would love something to go in it!!
I am looking for a mare or gelding aged 7-12 to hack, school and do some clear round jumping. I am looking to pay around £2000 including tack. I have 5 children so plenty of cuddles, love and grooming to be given to the right horse. Must be safe to ride and 100% in traffic as we need to cross a main road to get to the equestrian facilities of an adjacent yard.

you have probably heard we have had the equine influenza virus in a few states in Australia.
Thank god we did not get it in the state of victoria.
all of our shows have been cancelled which is not fair as we are not infected and the thoroughbred industry is up and running and racing in victoria they are allowed to race but we cant show. how unfair is that.

I bought him from Preston from a girl named abigail, she had done jumping with him and light hacking and she says she bought him from a known dealer who wasn't sure who owned him before he did. So he is abit of a mystery but a fab little pony as he is a terribly quick learner and has a fab jump.
He is a very pretty boy, he has a big equil blaze which spresds over his nostrills, a flaxen main and tail and 4 white socks. He is a liver chesnut with light dapples if anyone knows my fab little horse please write to me! xox

| Comments: | The difference between a A and a B is that the sec A tend to be stockier and Sec B's are more like riding pony type but are generally just bigger versions of the sec A but a little finer (alot of them are fine and can be plaited up to do Show hunter pony).
Sec Bs can be up to 13.2 hands high and Sec As 12 hands high.

Hi to all at Saith...Just got back from the Royal Welsh and still trying to scrap the mud off and dry out. It was like a horse version of Glastonbury!!. Topaz was full of herself and tanked off through the mud in the main ring so I sprained my ankle trying to keep up! This inhand showing is doing my head in, I cant run that fast! Thank god we will be back under saddle next season.

The dreaded time has come... We are moving back to South Africa at the end of the year which means I now need to find a home for my much ADORED Welsh cob. It is BREAKING my heart. He's had the same home since he was 5 months old. He's 15hh, 4 years, dark bay with blaze and blue eyes. Always placed when I showed him in hand. Stunning conformation and even more gorgeous personality. A real people lover. Used to busy yard life. Lives out at night and comes in during the day. I still dont have a stallion and have not bred for the last 2 years i still have 6 mares and are selling 2. i will have to get my bum into gear and get my mares in foal as the are getting on and they get hard to get in foal if you leave them too long. i have a welsh cob i bought him as a five year old and he was only 2 and a half we had him vetted but the vet didnt pick it up.
he has only just started to look in a good shape but needs lots more muscle yet. he has a great personality he is also a great jumper and can jump over a metre with ease.
i dont know if you have heard of him he is called nanteglwys fox his sire is called broadly dynmite from the welsh pony and cob society.

We bred the mare and although we unfortunately lost Brenin I still have Rhinawen and two full sisters to the mare. Is she Dwyfach Seren?

I have always been the thourghbred type of person but that changed september last year when I saw my little mare. She is a Welsh D - Ashow Lowry(but known as Baby Lady on the yard) - and was a depressed & stressed little mare with lots of problems in her head but there was something that told me to buy her- sily I know but hey that was best discision I have every made. Having turned her away and spending time building her trust I am now preparing to bring her under saddle again. And what a difference the time as made - she is now happy relaxed and a real pleasure - so trusting. Could never part with my best pal now. She is a true meaasure of the character of the welsh breed and I am a 100% fan now and ever singing the breeds praises.
Just cant wait to get on her back and continue this fantatstic partnership.

I was shocked to hear that he ended up at Clitheroe sales. When my daughter outgrew him we sold him to a family who promised to give us first refusal to buy him back when they did not want him any longer. When his new owners decided to sell him we agreed to buy him back and arranged to collect him but in the meantime they were offered more money and let us down. I would love to know how he is, he was a fantastic pony and deserved better than Clitheroe horse sales. |

At last the mud is subsiding and spring is starting. Rocket is still with us but he is now entered for Builth in May.I have not got time for him. He covered Lanelay Topaz in january and she is in foal so I am hoping for a nice early foal for next year's shows. Rocky covered 6 mares last year and they are all looking fit to burst!! We have just finished breaking Topaz so she should be out in the spring shows, inhand first and then under saddle if all goes well. Sapphire is rising 3 now and will do some inhand classes this year inbetween being broken in. Hope you have plenty of lovely foals due and all the cobs have weathered well over the winter. I cant believe how much ours are moulting with only 2 days sun on their back. I bet it will all change this weekend!
