That Welsh Cob movement you talk about, i have been lucky enough to get in my boy. There is nothing more enjoyable than running out a flamboyant sailing cob and especially seeing peoples reactions. Due to uni we have decided not to buy yet but would still like to do some showing(prevoiusly done PUK/BSPS).We don't mind taking a horse that wants to slow down a bit. We like quality as we have been spoilt(they cost the same to keep!)
We are in the North so offers n that area would be great.Please ring for more details. There must be a redundant horse somewhere that you don't want to sell.

Hi, Jess I use to own Cai had him when he was 6 months old till he was 4 or 5.
We did a little showing in hand he was broken in at 3, I did not ride him much he was too green for me as i had not ridden for some years.
He was a real mummy’s boy would not stay out over night away from home.

I have info on him as i used to own the mare but had to sell her due to a dispute and unfortunatly she ended up with a dealer who sold the foal on, i still know where the mare is if she wants to get in touch with me it would be lovely to see how cassidy has come on !!! Not sure if any one knows her so i can get in touch with her ???

I own Llewsob Touch of Class (Sorrell). She is a beautiful 15 hand liver chestnut mare who is 20 years old. I have owned her since she was born and only managed to acquire her at a week old because I was friendly with the Boswell family that bred all the Llewsob horses.

| Comments: | I have bought 4 horses from the Llewsob stud that was at Thamesmead SE London. One was section D - Llewsob Bay Brummet, the other his half brother, section E Llewsob chesnut blaze and 2 mares both section E. All were by the stallion Babiog Rhodri. 'Rodders' as I knew him was one of the nicest mannered animals I have ever come across. He always seemed to pass his good nature onto his foals. Regretably I lost my land on the marshes in 1996 when a new factory had to be built and all my cobs were sold on. I now have an eighteen year old daughter who is desperate to have a section d as her next horse. Since we are both on the larger side we are looking for a cob with good bone. Any suggestions. |

his father is around 15h.h
and his mother was 14.1h.h
we still own dafydd and he is still breeding many placid welsh cob foals

Well chestnut thats differnt as you have a lot of black breeding in your horses.
Im sure he will be one in a million and a special little fellow, i hope he does well in the show ring like his relatives.
I still miss dragon as do all of us.
I have still not bred anything for a while and have spent the last year getting chemotherapy and raidiotherapy after getting a breast lump removed and are just getting back on my feet so
I am leasing 2 of my mares out to a loverly lady for 2 seasons they are derwen/nebo and sydenham/ bloodlines.
They will be returned to my in foal to a loverly chestnut with lots of chrome i would have prefered black like you lol.
The stallion she has is 1 of john rileys that he has bred in australia out of the stock he brought over from england with him when he shifted here.
the breeding is as follows.
Cwmkaren Twywsog Harri (Nebo Dyfrig Express x Tydenwyn Dancing princess
I hope they make great babies together like yours have.
even though my mare is black i will probablly get a chestnut lol would love a black, but the chestnut gene is so strong so i will have to take what im given so long as it is healthy thats all that matters.
I hope you have lots of sucsess at the up and comming shows especially the royal welsh if you are showing there.

| Comments: | Hi to all at Saith Stud and happy new year. Topaz has surprised us by foaling a month early and getting it stuck. She was still out in the field as I was late home from work and decided to foal but I think it was so cold the foal didn't want to come out so there I was still in works uniform in the headlights of the car trying to turn the foal and get it out. Luckly enough it decided to get its legs straight and plop out just before we were going to call it a day. We have a lovely chestnut filly called Ruby as a result who has spent the first few days under an infra red lamp to get warm which topaz thinks is just for her!!
I am still looking for the owners of our stallion (Ruby's dad)Lanelay Rocket who we sold last year at the Spring sale if anybody knows where he is can they get in touch. I miss him so much and would love to now how he is doing ..
